Terraverve began as an idea, conieved just outside the Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Surrounded by generations of master woodworkers, potters, weavers, and artists, I saw a beautiful truth: The human spirit thrives when we create with our own hands and connect with the earth.
Terraverve serves as a digital artisan sanctuary. This is an independent, anti-conglomerate marketplace designed to enshrine the power that inherently belongs to artists. Corporate monopolies have sought to strip away that power, exploiting artisans while diminishing the spirit of community and our connection with the earth. Making an intentional choice to join our community bolsters the preservation of artisan sovereignty while elevating our voices. We are the change we wish to see in the world.
